Spring Wedding at Pelham House | Lewes East Sussex

What a fun and emotional wedding with lots of happy tears Amy and Tristram’s wedding was at Pelham House in Lewes!

A wedding day full of close friends and family made it such a special occasion - full of special moments throughout the day from bridal prep through to their first dance (which was pretty spectacular), bouquet tossing, and moves on the dance floor.

I love the way that they incorporated special touches throughout the day that reflected their interests and personalities…

Amy, being a Physics teacher, used the periodic table as a layout design for the wedding breakfast seating plan. And the table decorations made use of flasks, test tubes and the like to continue the theme.

The wedding cake held particular significance…

When Tristram was only five years old a visit to the Natural History Museum in London started his fascination with dinosaurs - hence the brilliant dinosaur cake topper. The vase on the cake was also on Tristram’s Mum’s and grandparents wedding cake, which was such a special touch.

The ‘first look with the bride and groom’ gave them both some private time together shortly before the ceremony, which took place on the lower lawn. I highly recommend that more couples do this, as the rest of the day flies by in a blur!

Fast forward to the evening and the bouquet toss was tons of fun - one of my favourite parts of a wedding day! Helped along by the brilliant ‘Keyboard Karyoke’ the evening’s entertainment was a fantastic addition to the entertainment.

Here are just a few images from the day…

If you’re planning a wedding at Pelham House, or a wedding elsewhere in London and the Home Counties, I’d love to hear what you’re dreaming up!
